‘Cerulean Embrace’ Pendant

This evocative and refined pendant suggests an exquisite bird in flight, delicately cradling a stunning 11.85 carat aquamarine, as if it had caught the sky itself in its wings. The design flows dynamically out of the exceptionally vivid oval gem, which originates from Mozambique, playing with tones, textures and form, the bird’s head and beak emanating gracefully from painterly depths.

‘Cerulean Embrace’ features masterful enamelling with a supreme approach to tonal shading which captures the subtle essential depths of the aquamarine as it catches the light.  The precious stone’s rich colours are reflected in the fine flowing feathers of the bird, depicted in enamel, while the inner side of its second wing is skilfully hand engraved in 18ct white gold. This creates movement and luminescence around the gem, whilst sensitively counterbalancing the enamels. These shimmer with hand engraved feather filaments and elegant sections of brilliant pavé set diamonds.

This jewel has been designed to be worn as a pendant with a range of bespoke Henn of London necklaces and could also be modified into a brooch if desired.

A fine art jewel from Henn of London that is bound to fly.
