Reputedly one of the largest ruby bowls in existence, the superlative quality precious gem from which it is formed is one of the very finest that has ever been seen by Henn. The baroque shape is organically drawn from an exceptionally large stone with excellent colour and tone and no discernible imperfections.
Its soft undulating outline reflects the supreme grace of a rare fancy freeform ruby from Longido in Tanzania, imbued with a delicate aura of elegance and refinement.
This exquisite bowl is a very rare collector’s piece. It also perfectly reflects Henn’s profound sense of aesthetics, commitment to the preservation and enhancement of each gemstone’s natural form, and talent in creating both distinguished and highly prized objets d’art.
